How to travel Darjeeling?

Darjeeling, the queen of hills . One of the best and popular place in northern part of India.

Transportations__ there are no airport or railway station at there. You have to NEW JALPAIGURI RAILWAY STATION . From there you have to book a cab or rent a car .  There are many kinds of vehicle available there like Tata sumo, bus, toto etc. If you are a solo traveler you can rent a share fare too . It's costs 250 to 1000 INR for per person.

Tips and tricks__always keep umbrellas cause full of Darjeeling is raining almost in every time of the year. It's gonna ruin your holiday. 

Always carry warm cloths, I think I don't need  to explain  why but you don't need in Darjeeling but need while riding and visiting new spots(in my experience).

Foods__  almost every kind of food is available for Indian and foreigners. There are many restaurants, pubs, stalls available for every type of budgets. Mostly noodles and momos available everywhere.  In the night , make sure you ordered for food in restaurant you stay cause every shops and restaurants open till 8 to 9 pm only.

Hotels__there are many hotels available for many price, 1000 to 5000 INR. If you're a solo traveler you should rent a hostel.  Every hotel have  water heaters in every room and wifi connection because  network problems is ordinary . If you out at the night make sure you have all identity proofs cause laws are very strict.

Best places to visit__

1.Tiger hill __  

 This is a sunrise point. When sun is rising above the KANCHANJANGHA MOUNTAIN the view is awesome . But you have to be lucky to see the view cause of fog. I wasn't that lucky because I woke up at 3am for view but fog and rain ruin my dreams. I'll try later.

2.Mall __  

 Technically this is a huge market as it's name.there are many shops held is in this place for clothes, ornaments, ancient paintings, foods and much more. There is a BIG BAZAAR shopping mall is placed over here.

3. Monasteries__ 

The monasteries are one of the best visiting places in Darjeeling. The monasteries are full of peace and it's has a positive environment.there are many   temples and churches placed here too. Peace Pagoda , Dali gompa etc are the one of the biggest monasteries.

4.The Rock Garden__

Waw. This my personal favourite. This is an unfinishable waterfall . It's on the hill and you can go up through a garden . The view is #unbloggable. I mostly recommend it for every visitor.

5. Zoo and HMI.

There is zoo in the Darjeeling . Not that big but collections are awesome  Like black Panther, Tiger, and Asian Black bear. That bear was my fav because there is a " V "  on their chest you can see them through 2 feet from a boundary. And other animals also available.

HMI  is HIMALAYAN MOUNTAINING INSTITUTE. There is a huge museum placed at here as the memorial of Tenjing Norge, the first man who went up to the Himalayas. Here is his tomb and a statue of that legend. 

Note__ this is not when Darjeeling ends. There are many things to do like exploring tea gardens, walking the roads, ropeway , Tenjing Rock etc . Those 5 was best in my opinion . So if it's helpful pls share my blog .
